Financial Accountability is a top priority for the City of Springfield. City employees, contractors, residents, and other interested parties are encouraged to submit a report whenever they suspect fraud, waste, or abuse affecting City resources.
Anonymous Reporting
The City has contracted with Syntrio Lighthouse Services to provide an anonymous reporting system for fraud, waste, or abuse concerns. Individuals may submit reports in this system 24/7 using any of the following options:

Direct Reporting
In addition, individuals can report concerns about fraud, waste, or abuse directly to the Office of Internal Audit by completing a Fraud Information Report and subsequently mailing the report to the following address:
