We need persons who are fluent in English and Spanish to serve as poll officials to assist voters in the 2008 Elections.

Poll workers receive $90.00 for the day.

We are committed to having bilingual poll officials available to help Springfield voters on election day, but cannot do it without your help.

Instant Notification

The city’s instant notification system is automatically set to call residents’ home phone or the main number of a Springfield business. However, residents and business owners may choose to add their cell phone number, email address and/or fax number to the City’s instant notification database. Messages will be sent to all of those communication devices in addition to your home phone number in the case of an emergency or other notification situation.

The City of Springfield's Department of Elder Affairs and Community Services Division have released the Springfield Senior Savings Guide, a pamphlet designed for the benefit of senior residents. The guide's purpose is to provide seniors with information on savings and discounts throughout the City to which they are entitled. Read more

The Springfield City Clerk's Office will not be selling Hunting, Fishing, Trapping, Sporting, Archery and Wildlife licenses for the 2007 season. The City Clerk's page has a list of other places to purchase these licenses.
