Fall lineup for Springfield Public Forum

Old but new every year, the Springfield Public Forum celebrates its 73rd anniversary in 2008 with an exciting line-up of cutting edge lectures, from robotocists to adventurers and great thinkers. The five-lecture series begins on September 14 with roboticist James McLurkin (with his robots) and ends November 19 with NPR Legal Affairs Correspondent Nina Totenberg. Get details.


Stearns Square CityBlock Concerts

Now in its ninth year, the annual Stearns Square CityBlock summer concert series offers city residents and visitors a free performance every Thursday night, from June to September. This year’s 12-week schedule includes a varied lineup featuring styles ranging from blues, rock 'n roll and classic rock to R&B, pop and top 40s hits.
